I've had this problem on 8.5, 8.5.1 and 8.5.1 FP1 (possibly on previous 8.x releases, I don't remember specifically). At this point, it's become to annoying to workaround. When I start the Notes client, it loads fine, but the location is set to "none" or blank and I have to manually set to Online or another location. I don't want to use location prompting as I don't need to change it much. I've deleted bookmark.nsf, cache.ndk, and even let Notes recreate my ini file. Same thing always happens. The client works fine once I set the location, but it doesn't remember it between application launches. Any ideas?
